Over the course of the month of July, several student volunteers lead by Madam Norasimah Ismail constructed a miniature garden at the back of the school. This particular project was inspired as an effort to produce edible herbs within the school compound, although it did have a less tangible impact in educating students regarding the field of gardening. The garden was decorated with reused materials to harken back to the theme of environmentalism, and materials like plastic bottles and old projector screens were employed in the construction of this garden. In the coming months, it is a hope of the people involved that this project will be the catalyst for a new trend of environmental-mindedness in students everywhere.
