Earth Day is celebrated on the 22nd of April worldwide, Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur decided to push off a flower garden drive to celebrate this occasion. It was made compulsory for each class to sponsor a pot of bougainvillea plant. Each pot would be labelled with the sponsor’s class or name. Parents were also invited to take part in this project by sponsoring the same plant.

Height of pot: Around 35-38 cm
Diameter: Around 45-47 cm
This flower garden drive was initiated in conjunction with this year’s theme in the Eco-School Programme “Biodiversity”. Currently, there are many sponsored bougainvillea plants by parents and students. The contributions and support from all parties is very encouraging and warmly welcomed.
