On Saturday, 22 February 2014, the Eco School Committee of the school organized a visit to Grace Farm, Serendah. It was an educational and useful experience due to the many activities designed to spread awareness amongst young people to preserve and conserve our environment.
The farm is self sustainable as it has its own water resource, to support the needs of planting vegetables as food resources for the animals over there. There was a various farm animals like goats, chickens, swans, ducks, rabbits, cows and horses at the farm. We also participated in feeding the animals. Besides that, they also sold fresh green vegetables and different green vegetable seeds to the visitors, chicken eggs were also for sale. There were many activities that were organized for the visitors to participate in. The activities prepared were archery, kayaking, rubber tapping and milking the cows.
